View Vacancy -- Vehicle Cleansing Operative
Fleet Services is currently responsible for the maintenance of approximately 400 of the Council’s vehicles. The fleet ranges from small vans up to 26 tonne refuse lorries. The Department ensures all vehicles are maintained to VOSA regulations and are suitable for the delivery of various Council services.
The main function of this post is to ensure that vehicles are thoroughly washed to enable the workshop staff to undertake vehicle inspections.
You will work in line with Council & Management policies. You will also ensure that all paperwork is complete and accurate to comply with Council procedures.
This 37 hour per week post:
12:00 to 20:00 Monday to Thursday
11:30 to 19:00 Friday
