Looking for a challenge? Enjoy supporting people? We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team of Social Care Workers providing support to individuals with learning disabilities within a community based Respite Service.

Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential, as successful applicants will be expected to bring their own life experiences and skills to the role. You will be provided with an induction, ongoing training and supervision to carry out your work effectively. You will need to have obtained or demonstrate commitment to work towards the QCF level 2.

Due to services being delivered 365 days per year, the successful applicants will be required to cover a range of shifts on a rota basis, including but not limited to; evenings, wake nights, weekends, and Bank holidays including Christmas & New Year. You will also be required to cover sleep-in duties for which additional payments are made.

Due to requirements of the Care Standards Act 2000, applicants must be 18 years or over.
