As part of the new Community, Wellbeing and Resilience service a new Play Development team has been established and we are seeking to recruit an experienced Play Worker into the Play Development post.

You will be responsible for supporting the development of quality play provision across the County Borough in order to provide the best possible outcomes for children and young people aged 5-14 years.

You will demonstrate that you have a wealth of knowledge and understanding on the importance of play for children and young people. You will also have sound experience of working with community based voluntary and private organisations.

There is a requirement to posess Level 3 Play qualification, if you do not hold this, there will be an expectation of undertaking the qualification within 12 months of being appointed to this post.
