View Vacancy -- Part Time Residential Child Care Practitioners - Beddau Community Home
We are currently looking to employ Residential Child Care Practitioners to work 18.5 and 28.5 hours per week at Beddau Community Home. The home provides accommodation for 5 vulnerable children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to provide day to day care and support to those children and young people living at the home.
The specific responsibilities of the post include:
- To promote the well-being of children and young people by encouraging a healthy lifestyle, educational attainments and stimulating leisure activities.
- To prepare for and participate in planning and review meetings.
- To share in the practical activities necessary to maintain the standards of the home.
The successful candidate must be prepared to be flexible as the role will involve shift work, including weekends, Bank Holidays and sleep-in duties.
Successful candidates will be required to register with Social Care Wales, and undertake the QCF Level 3 Diploma in health and Social Care(children and young people) within 2 years of registration with Social Care Wales.
