Projects Team

The Strategic Projects Section is responsible for the appraisal, design, construction, supervision and project management of a wide variety of exciting and challenging projects, including highway infrastructure, transportation, reclamation, drainage, ground stability, contaminated land. The section also has responsibility for Flood & Tips Risk Management.

We are seeking to appoint a senior project manager to assist primarily within the projects area of the service. The person will be responsible for and lead on the management of complex infrastructure projects through all stages of preparation and implementation of the project delivery. It is essential that applicants must have an excellent knowledge of Civil Engineering and project management with knowledge of water/environmental engineering also being desirable.

The post-holder must possess a HNC/HND or higher level qualification in Civil Engineering or similar. A professional qualification at IEng. or higher would be desirable. The applicant must have Experience in Civil Engineering including project management, management of budget and project appraisal/design and have good oral, written communication and ICT skills.
