Assistant Educational Psychologist (Temporary - end of March 2020 initially)

Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service are seeking to appoint a 1 fte Assistant Educational Psychologist to work alongside a qualified Educational Psychologist supporting staff and pupils within a Secondary aged Pupil Referral Unit and their families.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of professionals, to develop strategies that will enhance the quality of children, young people's and families lives, learning and well-being. The role will potentially encompass project work, action based research, training, as well as direct work with children and families.
Day to day operations, professional supervision and CPD will be provided by the Educational Psychologist within the team and a range of CPD opportunities will be provided from Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil Educational Psychology Service.
This is a temporary (end of financial year 2020 initially) 1fte post. The post will be available from October 2019 or as soon as a successful applicant is able to commence.
