Temporary WCCIS System Support Officer 

Applications are invited to join the Community & Children’s Services Systems Support Team on a secondment/ temporary basis for a period of 1 year.  Reporting to the Systems Support Manager, the successful candidate will join a dynamic team that is responsible for the maintenance and development of the Wales Community Care Information System (WCCIS).

The role will primarily focus on supporting Social Care staff in their use of WCCIS.  This will include providing cover on the system support helpdesk, resolving tier 1 queries, providing training via Microsoft Teams and creating new forms. 

Applicants must be experienced in delivering training in various formats and practised in the use of Microsoft Office or equivalent. A sound knowledge of WCCIS is desirable.

The hours of work are 37 per week and, at present, the team are homeworking in line with the Council’s current COVID-19 arrangements (this may be subject to change).

This is a temporary position for 1 year and applicants wishing to apply for a secondment must have approval from their line manager.
