Projects Team

The Strategic Projects Section is responsible for the appraisal, design, construction, supervision and project management of a wide variety of exciting and challenging projects, including highway infrastructure, transportation, reclamation, drainage, ground stability, contaminated land. The section also has responsibility for Flood & Tips Risk Management.

We are seeking to appoint to this senior position a suitable person to assist primarily within the projects area of the service. The person will be able to manage a team of technical staff to carry out all aspects of the project delivery. It is essential that applicants must have an excellent knowledge of Civil Engineering and project management with knowledge of water/environmental engineering also being desirable.

The post-holder must possess a HNC/HND or higher level qualification together with a professional qualification at IEng. or higher being desirable and have good oral, written communication and ICT skills. Experience in Civil Engineering including project management, management of budget and project appraisal/design is essential with experience in managing a technical team being desirable.
