CASUAL CARE DOMESTIC ASSISTANTS            

PARC NEWYDD CARE HOME. TALBOT GREEN.

Casual staff are required to cover periods of absence of permanent staff. You will need to be available at short notice for shifts during the week, weekends and nights.

Duties will include general domestic tasks, kitchen duties and personal care of residents and service users.

Candidates for this post will have an understanding of the needs of older people. Previous experience of working with or spending time with older people is essential.

The successful candidates will be supported to complete the Induction Framework, a programme designed to prepare you for your new role. You will also be expected to undertake the QCF level 2 in Health and Social Care.

To satisfy the requirements of the Care Standards Act, in order to undertake care shifts you should be at least 18 years of age.
