We are looking to recruit an Assistant Highways Inventory Analyst within the Highways Technical Services Section of the Highways and Streetcare Services Division.

The successful candidate will be required to assist the Senior Engineers, Highway Engineers and the Highways Data Analyst in the provision of a high quality Highway Infrastructure Service.

Experience of ICT applications, particularly databases and mapping systems related to highway management/maintenance is highly desirable.

The duties and main functions of the role will include:

  • Supporting the Highways Technical Services Manager to both manage and maintain the Highways Asset Management plan as well as the Asset Management database
  • Assisting in the development of existing service areas discreet computer systems associated with Roads, Footways, Street Lighting, Structures and Traffic Signal maintenance.
  • Assisting the various Senior Engineers in maintaining their respective budgets, inputting of invoices and providing expenditure / income reports etc
  • Assisting with the production of management and performance reports and KPI's associated with all aspects of highways maintenance.
  • Responding to complaints, queries and requests for service in accordance with Council Policy and direction.
