An opportunity has arisen within Bereavement Services, to appoint a Cemetery Operative at Aberdare Cemetery.  This role will include work undertaken within the Crematorium and Cemetery Grounds as directed, which will include grave excavation and grounds maintenance.

The successful candidate will need to assist all users of the facility in every way.  This will include the general public, Funeral Directors, Clergy and Monumental Masons.

The successful applicant must have a strong commitment to customer care, excellent organisational skills and must observe strict adherence at all times to the Code of Safe Working Practices.  The main objective of the role is at all times, the care of the bereaved in a professional and dignified manner.
