RCTCBC are recruiting to fill positions in the newly established Tip Safety Team. 

Focus has returned to the mining legacy after the landslips in colliery spoil tips in RCTCBC during 2020.  Management and maintenance of tips is changing in Wales to ensure the resilience in our landscape.  It is an opportunity to get involved in the management of tips, inspection methodology and practice, geotechnical analysis and implementation of maintenance and major works on tips.

We are looking for excellent candidates to lead in tips safety management for RCTCBC in south east Wales. The roles available are:

  • Tip Safety Manager
  • Principal Tip Safety Engineer
  • Senior Engineer
  • Inspectors
  • Technician
