The RCT CCTV unit provides an alarm response key holder service which covers various building owned by the authority.  As a mobile security officer your role will include attending and patrolling sites depots and buildings within the County Borough. 

You will be required to use a tag monitored reporting system and liaise with the control room Staff/Police or other Agencies when necessary.  Working as required, including shift work, Bank Holidays and weekends you will form part of a small team in a closed and confidential environment.

Capable of working on your own initiative with the ability to prioritise, you should demonstrate excellent communication skills.  You must be able to work and concentrate under pressure with the ability to cope with incidents calmly.  Effective observation skills and attention to detail are vital to produce accurate records and witness statements for court.  You need to be computer literate and able to operate the surveillance system following a period of training.  You should be able to travel independently throughout the County Borough.
