Sport and Physical Activity development professionals are required to work within Rhondda Cynon Taf Sport RCT team.  The role will include working closely with a range of partners to deliver and facilitate sport and physical activity opportunities within the community. The team operates as part of a local authority sports development team (Sport RCT) that work closely with schools, community organisations and wide range of professional and volunteer workforce, to help achieve Sport Wales and Welsh Governments vision for a healthier nation.

Other duties include the implementation of data, measuring impact, project and program deliverer at a local and authority wide level that are in line with a service delivery plan. Some evening and/or weekend working will be required within the role. 

The successful candidates must possess a Level 3 qualification in sports development, community development or related relevant subject.

There are three posts available (two fixed-term contract and one secondment both until 31st March 2022).
