Looking for a challenge? Enjoy supporting people? We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our expanding team of casual social care workers providing support to individuals with learning disabilities to gain skills for independence.

The service comprises of Supported Living and Respite Services across Rhondda Cynon Taf therefore, you will be required to work flexibly and innovatively to meet service user need and contribute to the development of the Respite Service.

Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential, as successful applicants will be expected to bring their own life experiences and skills to the role. You will be provided with an induction, ongoing training and supervision to carry out your work effectively. You will need to have obtained or demonstrate commitment to work towards the QCF level 2.

Due to services being delivered 365 days per year, the successful applicants will be required to cover a range of shifts, including but not limited to; evenings, wake nights, weekends, and Bank holidays including Christmas & New Year. You will also be required to cover sleep-in duties for which additional payments are made.
