You’ll be part of a committed team who are focused on achieving the best outcomes for children and young people. The voice of the child is central to everything we do at the 4Cs, we have the Participation Standards Kitemark and we have a well-established Young Commissioners Programme engaging children who are living with a foster carer or in a children’s home in Wales and whose ages range from 6 years to care leavers.

The role requires flexible working, needing to accommodate some evening and weekend working plus during school holidays.

Applicants will be experienced in working with children and young people and will have a proven track record of using participation and consultation to influence and improve services. The work will be ideally suited to someone able to communicate well, through creative use of different media with a range of audiences, with a strong ethos of promoting inclusion and supporting diversity, and a strong team player who is also able to work autonomously.

The successful candidate will possess a Degree in Youth and Community work (or equivalent) and experience of working in Youth Work or Children’s Services. Welsh Language Skills are desirable.
