Looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity in Rhondda Cynon Taf, to join our Life Journey Team as a Support Worker who will work closely with children's social workers providing life journey work for children and young people whose plan is adoption.

You will work with children, birth families, foster carers, adopters and staff in the Vale Valleys and Cardiff Adoption Service to ensure that all necessary information is available for children to understand their journey prior to being adopted. You will also work closely with the regional co-ordinator to ensure that good practice is shared across the region when completing individual life journey books and developing resources for other practitioners to use. You will receive regular supervision and support from the Adoption Principal Social worker based within RCT.
