An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent position within the Council's Social Care Charging Team which is part of the Financial Management and Accounting division. Responsibilities include: Completion of financial assessments, calculation of financial charges, maintaining the council’s financial databases, liaising with service users, service professionals and other external agencies eg. DWP and External Care Providers. Training will be provided in term of completion of financial assessments and will require a level of financial and ICT literacy. Candidates would be expected to have excellent communications skills both written and verbal and have a keen willingness to learn. Knowledge of services provided by the Council’s Community & Children’s Services Group is desirable although not essential.
