We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Intensive intervention FAST Worker who will be attached to the Intensive Intervention Teams in RCT .

Their role will be to provide a flexible service to the families as part of a tailored support package. You will undertake practical support in partnership with parents as part of their child or young person’s Care and Support Plan and also work in partnership with other agencies to support families to access services and contribute to the review of those interventions. There is a requirement to work evenings, early mornings and some weekends. 

The successful candidate must possess the Children and Young People level 3 in Health and Social Care (QCF) or predecessor NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People or ability to achieve the QCF within 2 years of being allocated an assessor. 

Protecting children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council.

In addition to this safeguarding responsibility, the successful applicant for this role will also be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
